Here's a GREAT old hymn! "Come Thou Fount Of Every Blessing" was written originally by the 18th century pastor and writer Robert Robinson.
Robinson penned the words at age 22 in the year 1757! It is a great poem about Christ's love to the world... I especially love the stanza that says:
Jesus sought me when a stranger,
Wandering from the fold of God;
He, to rescue me from danger,
Interposed His precious blood!

Yep one has to wonder. i think he may have asked "Why are they bare-footed??" heh heh :)
